For orthopaedic practices

Six surgeons. Six sets of protocols.

Fios guides every patient in your practice through their surgical journey by SMS, in the words of the surgeon who operated on them. Each surgeon keeps their own protocols and their own caseload. Your practice sees all of it in one place.

The problem

Bought by the practice.Ignored by surgeons.

Most practices have paid for something their surgeons never adopted. Usually because it asked them to work from someone else's template, in someone else's voice, and answer patients in a way that was not how they practice.

Fios is built the other way around. Each surgeon's pathways come from their own protocol documents, and each surgeon approves their own before a patient sees anything. Nobody is asked to standardize on a colleague's protocol.

The architecture

Separate caseloads, one practice.

Every surgeon has their own caseload: their protocols, their patients, their conversation history, their outcomes data. Your practice sits above all of them.

Your team works across caseloads without switching accounts. Your surgeons keep what is theirs. Neither gets in the other's way.

  • Per-surgeon protocols and pathways, approved individually
  • Shared coordinators and staff working across every caseload
  • One practice account, one bill
  • Adding a partner is adding a caseload, not a new deployment

Reporting is a practice problem.

PRO-PM is reported at facility level, not per surgeon, which means the exposure is yours even though the data comes from each surgeon's patients.

Fios tracks eligibility, response rates, matched pairs and provider variables across every joint caseload in the practice, so you can see where the group stands while there is still time to move the number.

Voluntary for 2025 and 2026. Mandatory from 2027.

The same twelve questions. Twelve different answers.

Your coordinators field the same pre-op and recovery questions for every surgeon in the group, but the right answer changes surgeon to surgeon. Fios answers from each surgeon's own approved pathway, so nobody has to remember whose protocol applies to which patient.

FAQ

Questions practices ask.

They do not have to. Each one's pathways come from their own documents and are approved by them.
Surgeons can take their agents with them. Patient data that has been passed to the EMR stays with the practice.
Start with the ones who will. The practice tier is there when you want it, and adding a caseload later does not disturb anything already running.
You don't need to in order to get started, however EMR integration is available.
